Features
Introducing our top mounted wind resistant roller screen, a perfect solution for those living in breezy environments. Designed to withstand strong gusts of wind, this innovative product ensures that your indoor spaces remain comfortable and insect-free.
One of the standout features of this roller screen is its fully retractable insect mesh, which can be effortlessly pulled into position with the convenience of either a sturdy handle or a reliable chain mechanism. This versatility allows for easy operation, making it suitable for anyone in the family to use.
What truly sets this screen apart is its ideal design for doorways. Unlike traditional screens, it doesn’t require a bottom rail, significantly reducing the risk of tripping hazards. This ensures safe passage for both people and pets, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas.
For your convenience, the maximum width available for this screen is 2000mm, with a height of up to 2480mm, accommodating various doorway dimensions.
On the other hand, the minimum width is a compact 520mm, allowing it to fit snugly even in narrower spaces.
Explore the incredible benefits of installing this wind-resistant roller screen in your home—it’s the perfect blend of functionality and safety!
Measuring for Reveal Fit
Screens will be fitted within the reveal by screw-fixing the end caps and side tracks sideways into the reveal.
Measure the minimum width of the reveal; we suggest you take three measurements – top, middle and bottom. Deduct 2mm from the smallest measurement.
Measure the minimum height of the reveal, again we suggest you take three measurements – left, middle and right. Deduct 2mm from the smallest measurement.
We manufacture to the sizes given to us, subject to +/- 2mm manufacturing tolerance. Please ensure you have read our measuring instructions carefully and made any deductions required.
Width: Smallest width of reveal – 2mm.
Height: Smallest height of reveal – 2mm.
Face Fit
Screens will be fitted the frame or fitting surface by screw-fixing the side tracks through the face of the tracks. The width of the cassette is the critical measurement – it cannot be changed after it has been made.
Measure the width of the aperture, plus any bevelled edges on the window frame. Add 40mm of flat surface on each side to fit the tracks.
Measure the height of the aperture, plus any bevelled edges on the window frame. Add 50mm flat surface for the cassette to fit to. The bottom bar needs to close below the start of the flat surface to provide a seal, so add a minimum of 10mm of flat surface at the bottom, more can be added if space allows.
If fitting to the wall outside the reveal, we suggest you add an additional 20mm of flat surface on each side and at the top, to avoid fixing too close to the edge of the reveal.
We manufacture to the sizes given to us, subject to +/- 2mm manufacturing tolerance. Please ensure you have read our measuring instructions carefully and made any deductions required.
Width: Aperture + 80mm of flat surface.
Height: Aperture (and bevelled edges) + 60 of flat surface.
