Insect Panel Curtain
Our insect panel curtain is a practical DIY screening solution designed for domestic doorways. Multiple vertical mesh panels hang from a grey top rail, with two central panels that slide aside to create a clear opening when access is needed.
The black mesh panels are weighted at the bottom to help reduce movement in light airflow while continuing to provide coverage across the doorway.

The sliding centre panels make this insect panel curtain easy to use on regularly accessed doorways. Rather than moving the whole curtain aside, the two centre panels can simply be slid away when you need a wider opening.
It is suitable for installation either inside or outside the doorway, depending on how your existing door opens, and is supplied as a DIY kit for screw-fix installation.

Sizes & Suitability

- Each mesh panel is approximately 27cm wide
- The rail and panels can be trimmed and adjusted during installation if required
- Multiple kits can be fitted side by side to cover wider openings and create a continuous screen across the doorway
For doorways narrower than 95cm, the system can be cut down during installation. For wider openings, multiple kits can be positioned alongside one another.

Choosing the Best Fitting Position
The insect panel curtain can be fitted either inside or outside the doorway, depending on the direction your existing door opens and where you have suitable fixing space.
Before installation, check that the rail can be positioned securely without interfering with the door, handles or surrounding fittings. The mesh panels should be able to hang freely across the opening so they can move as intended during use.
For wider openings, fitting more than one kit side by side allows the screening to continue across the full width of the doorway. For smaller openings, the kit can be trimmed and adjusted during installation to better suit the available space.
Before You Order
Make sure there is enough flat surface around your doorway to fit the rail securely.
You should also check how your existing door opens to determine whether the insect panel curtain is best installed inside or outside the doorway.
This product is supplied as a DIY kit and is suitable for screw-fix installation only, so make sure the intended fixing surface is suitable before starting installation.
