Designed to accommodate a maximum size of 1200mm wide by 1200mm high, this screen is adaptable to different window configurations. For larger screens with a dimension over 1000mm, a midbar will be added to enhance stability and support. If you require larger screens, please get in touch.

DIY Kits
Our aluminium window screen DIY kit is designed for easy and quick setup in your home. This kit effectively keeps pesky insects outside where they belong, allowing you to enjoy fresh air without the hassle. The kit is offered in two versatile sizes, 1050mm x 1250mm and 1250mm x 1550mm, which can be cut down to size to fit your window perfectly. You have the option to securely fix the screens in place for a permanent solution, or choose the hinged option that allows for easy access whenever you need it.

Measuring – Applies to All Domestic Window Screens
Measure width and height of the aperture, plus any bevelled edges on the window frame. Add 25mm of flat surface on each side (for the screen frame to rest against). If you are short of flat surface, you can have as little as 10mm, but the frame will overlap some of the aperture.
Any locating wedge for a cockspur handle must be included in the aperture measurement, and there must be at least 25mm of flat surface beyond it.
Width: Aperture (and bevelled edges) + 50mm of flat surface.
Height: Aperture (and bevelled edges) + 50mm of flat surface.
Additionally
Lift Out Screens – Ensure you have an additional 25mm of flat surface to fit top bracket and 25mm to fit the bottom bracket – do not include these amounts in the manufacturing measurements you give us.
Hinged Screens – Ensure you have an additional 10mm of flat surface to fit hinges and 20mm to fit turn buttons – do not include these amounts in the manufacturing measurements you give us.
Do you need to build a sub frame? If the window handle extends more than 10mm beyond the flat surface you will need to build a sub frame around the window to bring the screen away from the window handle when it is closed.
